New mile long landmark avenue

Working together the team, landowners and local helpers have helped co-ordinate a mile-long landmark avenue running from the end of Walton Lane as far as Spring Farm Cottages. Most of this route will be planted. The team was successful in a funding application to the National Forest Company towards the cost of the trees and other works. The species will be small-leaved lime.

They have arranged a community planting day on 8th Dec 2012.
